In the lead up to MCM this weekend Ive decided to give you a brief idea and some background info about the whole thing. MCM was started in 2001 by Paul Miley and Bryan Cooney. It usually has involvement from companies such as UNIVERSAL, MANGA, TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX, NEO MAGAZINE.
There are loads of things to do there with no age limit from what i know of. Things to look out for on this 3 day bonanza are guests from popular film or television series some of which participate in Q and A sessions. An autograph area in which big names in movies and tv will sit and sign items for fans. Cosplay in which fans can dress up as their favourite characters. Comic village in which artists/writers/publishers both amateur and professional sell their comics and prints. This is just a brief recap of what to find if you go but like Morpheus from the matrix says, “unfortunately, no one can be told what MCM is. You have to see it for yourself.”
P.S.
Keep an eye out for the Section9 Team from WoolongTalks, we might have a few surprises lined up.
